1. Letters

As Alisia walked into the house, she took a deep breath smelling the scent of apples. Apples was her favorite scent. Therefore, every air freshener she owned was an apple scent. Alisia lived in a small cottage house. A house made for one person. It was in a quiet part of Boston. It was the kind of house any 19 year old girl would want to herself. Alisia placed the groceries on the counter, looking through her mail. One thing caught her eye. She held the envelope carefully in her hands. There were many stamps all over it, symbolizing it was from overseas. She carefully ripped it open finding a fragile letter. She scanned through it, holding it carefully.
I don't know who you are. And you do not know who I am. Yet. I know two things about you. You are 19. And you're a girl. So I'll exchange the same information. I'm 19. I'm a boy. If I told you I'm famous. Would you think differently of me? Well, I already told you. You don't know me yet. I would hope you write back to me. Because I need someone to talk to. Please answer my letter.
Goodbye lovely xx

She looked at it amazed. This is a famous 19 year old. Who could he be? And why is he writing her this? He is trusting her with all his being to keep his secret, and to talk to him. He was hoping for something to come out of this. Something good. So Alisia decided to write back.
Hello. xx
I guess I should share my name right? My name's Alisia. I do not know why you are writing me this letter. And why you chose me. And why you did this. But I can tell you that I'm here for you. Because I have been through too much, to let anyone to feel what I have felt. So feel free to write what you want. Just know. I am here.
Goodbye xx

Alisia sighed as she finished the letter. She placed the folded up paper in an envelope writing down the return address. Alisia wadled out in the cold weather with just a tshirt and jeans. She had no shoes on either. She padded to the mail box, placing the small envelope in and going back to her small house. Alisia didn't know what had come over her. She felt as if she needed to write back to this boy.
Zayn sat on his bed thinking to himself. Why had he sent that note? The girl wouldn't have responded. Even if she did. She wouldn't care about what he was going through. She would only care about his fame. She would probably sell that stupid letter. How stupid am I? he thought. He regretted sending it. He regretted writing it.
"Zayn!" He heard Harry call. Zayn rushed toward the door, to find Harry sifting through the mail. "You have mail." Harry said handing an envelope to him.
"Thanks." He said taking the envelope and walking back into his room. Zayn carefully opened the envelope, looking at the small letter on the inside. The writing was neat and small. He read it carefully.

Goodbye xx

He kept rereading the letter. So maybe this girl Alisia would keep this to herself. Maybe she will let him be himself for once. And that's exactly what Zayn needed. So he smiled and grabbed a new piece of paper, writing a new letter.
