Where were Harry and Misty?
"Zayn, do you think he's really going to make her stay home?"I asked crinkling my brow in worry and he shook his head.
"Harry may be strong, but he could never use his strength against her."I nodded but he kept talking."He would never hurt her, just like I would never hurt you. It would be against his nature, our nature."They walked through the courthouse doors at that moment and Misty ran up to us.
"Isn't this exciting?"She whispered.
"I'm glad you could come."Eleanor said leaning slightly towards her before Louis pulled her back. Out of all the boys, Liam seemed to be the calmest. I thought maybe it was because he'd faced his murderer and therefore didn't have a problem with Danielle facing hers. All the others though seemed a little tense, especially Harry. I expected that out of him, he had the most to lose. He clutched tightly in his arms the only live one of the bunch. She had a life to lose and they both had love to lose. They brought the jury out into their seats first then everyone got quiet. It was starting. He came out in cuffs. Murmurs went through the crowd as he took his seat in the defendant’s chair. Zayn slowly wrapped his arm around me as if he was afraid I would do something stupid if he didn't. I wouldn't have jumped at him. He didn't deserve the satisfaction of getting me riled up.
"All rise for the Honourable Judge Brown."Everyone stood as a white haired, stern looking man walked in. Danielle snorted.
"Honourable, he is way less than honourable."Liam stared at her along with everyone else.
"Why would you say such a thing?"Harry asked his curiosity having been peaked by her outburst.
"I've seen him at my work."Danielle said in a matter of fact tone."He was one of Gypsy's customers."Liam stared at her.
"Her parents named her Gypsy?"He asked and I shook my head. How could he have not guessed by now? He was such an innocent when it came to these things.
"No, that was her stage name."Danielle said."I was a stripper; he came to the bar a lot."Liam furrowed his brow.
"You never told me you were a stripper."She whipped her head towards him.
"I didn't think it was relevant. Are you going to leave me because I'm a whore?"His eyes widened and he pulled her closer.
"Never ever, no, I wouldn't. You're not a whore."He said kissing her multiple times all over her face.
"Stop Li, that tickles."She said giggling. I could see Misty holding in a laugh.
"Case of Crown against Dimons."We turned our attention back towards the trial."How to you plead to the 4 counts of 1st degree murder?"The judge asked looking solemnly over his glasses at the defendant.
"Guilty, your honour."The court house murmured and that's when I saw her, my Mum crying in the front with three other women. From what I saw on the other girls' faces I knew the other three were their Mums as well. A trial like this goes on for days, we'd just come for the last, the conviction day.
"Would the families like to say anything?"The judge asked and my Mum stepped up to the pulpit.
"I'm the third victim Perrie Edwards Mum and I speak for all of us when I say that I hope you rot."Then she sat down and the courthouse whispered their agreement. Misty pulled out of Harry's grasp and went to the front.
"No, Mist come back!"Harry desperately called, but she didn't come back. If only she had just come back.
I slid into the row with their mothers.
"I'm Misty Banks and I knew your daughters, not well, just a pass by in the street or so. They were lovely though and I just wanted to say how sorry I am."I said and they patted me on the back.
"Thank you love."One of them said. They were so sad and in so much pain all because of him. I looked up at him and he smiled at me.
"Ghost girl's here for me well I have a surprise for you."I was confused at his words. Then I heard a gunshot. I spun around to run back to Harry and get out of here. He had his arms outstretched for me. His eyes begged for me to run a little faster, to get to him faster. I was halfway down the aisle when the second shot go off and my entire world went black.
When I heard that shot I knew what he'd done. My Misty, where was she? Where did she go? She was running down the aisle towards me.
"Come on baby, just reach my arms."I whispered trying to hold back my tears. I knew she wasn't going to make it. I could feel it in the deepest part of my heart and that feeling hurt. The second shot went off and I watched her head snap backwards. She crumbled to the ground. There was blood everywhere. It took me a couple minutes for it to register that it was her blood. I didn't want to believe it.
"No."I whispered. I ran for her stepping through the people.
"She's gone."A man said who had his fingers pressed against her neck.
"No no no no no no."I said kneeling beside her."Please don't leave me Misty. I love you, please don't go."I was numb as I stared at her, lying face down on the ground in a pool of her own blood. I turned towards the man who'd started everything. I felt my anger rise.
"Harry, Harry you need to stay calm."Louis said trying to pull me away from her body.
"No, she's mine get away!"I yelled lifting her up and cradling her in my arms."I'm so sorry I failed."
"Harry, we need to go."Louis said trying to pull me away. I let him but as soon as I saw that bastard, that murderer, laughing at me. He thought my pain was funny. That's when I lost it. I ripped myself out of Louis' arms. I ran up the aisle catching him by the throat. I could tell by the terrified screams that erupted all around me that they could see me."Is that a ghost?"Someone asked.
"I can't believe you!"I yelled."My Misty, you killed my Misty and you will pay!"I tightened my grip on his throat and he sputtered. I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Come on Harry, it won't bring her back."Liam said and I shrugged him off. His face was turning red, I squeezed harder.
"Harry stop."I looked back at Misty and I dropped him.
"I'm so sorry."
"You should be."He said rubbing his neck.
"I WASN'T APOLOGIZING TO YOU!"I yelled grabbing his throat again."YOU ARE THE SCUM OF THE EARTH! I WOULD NEVER APOLOGIZE TO YOU!"
"Let him go Harry."I turned to Liam and he grabbed my arm. He pulled my hand away from his neck and led me away. The murmurs that went through the crowd told me I had receded from view.
"Let's get you home Harry."Perrie said wrapping her arm around my shoulders and leading me away. I don't know where exactly I went in my mind to escape the pain, but I didn't want to be there. My worst nightmare was lying on the courthouse floor.
